As the Operations Manager at Quasar, Sherry gleans her expertise and knowledge from spending over 20 years in the financial industry. She began her career as an office administrator at a mutual fund dealer, then moved on to a similar role for a group of advisors. Sherry and Gord started their first company, The Wealth Planning Group, in Winnipeg in 2000, where Sherry was the principal administrator for the company. In 2009, they decided to move to BC to purchase Quasar, and have worked together ever since.
Sherry's primary role in the family business is to support and assist Gord and to oversee all administration and accounting. Working with a great team is her favourite thing about coming to work, and she uses her knack for organization to ensure that all office procedures run smoothly.
In her spare time, Sherry loves to be outdoors and especially loves to go camping. She also loves family time with their children Robert and Julia.
